2025 ASHE Derby City Scholarship Winners

Because of the great success we had fundraising, with our first Topgolf Event, we were able to award two $1500 scholarships to a ?University of Louisville Civil Engineering Student, who is pursuing an emphasis in Transportation.

Congratulations to Graham Slaby! Graham is a Junior at the University of Louisville, J.B. Speed School of Engineering.

Congratulations to Sajjad Karimi.! Sajjad is a graduate student at the University of Louisville J.B. Speed School of Engineering.

Thank you to everyone who submitted applications, if you were not a winner, and still eligible, please submit again. I especially want to thank all of our participants from the Topgolf Event held on March 7, 2025, to raise money for the scholarship fund. Without your participation and sponsorship we would not have been able to give out two scholarships!

2024 ASHE Derby City Scholarship Winner

ASHE Derby City is pleased to announce the winner of the 2024 Scholarship; Carissa Vincent. Carissa is a junior at the University of Louisville Speed School of Engineering, majoring in Civil Engineering. Carissa is also a co-op at Burgess & Niple, where she receives hands-on training in the transportation field. The ASHE scholarship aims to promote continuing education in the transportation industry, and we look forward to Carissa joining the work force, full time, once she graduates. Keep up the good work Carissa.
